1.1 To lay down a procedure for the Preventive Maintenance of Vibro Sifter.

Scope
2.1 This procedure is applicable for the Preventive Maintenance of Vibro Sifter at “NAME” Pharmaceuticals
Ltd.
3.0 Responsibility
3.1. Only trained Technician is responsible for
normal operation. He/ She inform the supervisor
about any deviation from normal
operation. He also maintains logbook.
3.2. Head of Engineering and Maintenance shall
be responsible for the implementation of this SOP.
3.3 Head of QA / designee shall be
responsible for compliance of this SOP.

7.0 Procedure
7.1. Before carried out the preventive maintenance, Switch off the incoming power supply and display “Under Maintenance”.
7.2. The Technician has to ensure and verify the check points for the preventive maintenance as shown in the Annexure-I.
7.3. After the completion of preventive maintenance, check the machine for smooth operation.
7.4. Remove “Under Maintenance”
7.5. The Technician perform the job will enter his name / sign in “Done by” column and responsible Engineer / Officer will put sign in “Checked By” column.
7.6. Preventive Maintenance is carried out monthly as per the following check points:
7.6.1 Check rugged spring for proper tightness, rectify if any abnormally.
7.6.2 Check dead weight for proper fitting
7.6.3 Lubricate the motor bearings.
7.6.4 Check wheels for free movement and it should lock proper if any
abnormalities rectify it.
7.6.5 Check motor electrical terminals for proper tightness.
7.6.6 Check all gaskets for any damage, replace if required.
7.6.7 Check operation sifter for proper vibration adjust the dead
weight.
